VELIKI TABOR & KRAPINSKE TOPLICE

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS
Veliki Tabor
Hrvatsko Zagorje region is one of the most picturesque and romantic Croatian regions known for numerous beautiful castles. One of the best preserved is the Veliki Tabor Castle. There you can discover a tragical story of the beautiful Veronika Desinićka who fell in love with Fridrik, the son of the castle owner. From the castle there is an impressive view over the entire Hrvatsko Zagorje area and part of Slovenia, as well as on the nearby vineyard where Veronika used to meet with her beloved Fridrik. Today in that particular vineyard there is a restaurant "Grešna Gorica" where you can try delicacies from the rich cuisine of the region.
Krapinske Toplice
After sightseeing we are going to relax in a nearby small resort town of Krapinske Toplice with the biggest complex of indoor pools in Croatia. There are 5 indoor pools with different water attractions ( wave pool, water slide, underwater massages... ) and 1 outdoor pool surrounded by a large terrace with an amazing view and with plenty of deck chairs for relaxation. Specialty of this place is that all the pools are filled with healing thermomineral water.
