Samobor

 

Only 20 km from Zagreb there is Samobor, the most popular and attractive day trip destination of the Zagreb residents. Samobor is most known for its baroque buildings, romantic city promenades by the small city creek and great local gastronomy. The symbol of Samobor is "kremšnita" cake. You can try it at one of the pastry shops on the main city square.

Plešivica wine road

 

Enjoy the view of slopes covered in vineyards while you drive to one of well known wineries in the Plešivica area. Take a walk inside the cellar and taste the famous local sparkling wine and other great wines accompanied with local homemade food .
