Adriatic Coastal Road

Drive on the famous Adriatic Coastal Road, most scenic Croatian road and often listed among the TOP 10 most scenic European roads. Road runs through a dramatic scenery of the mighty Velebit mountain from one side and the rugged Adriatic coast with several islands on the other side.

On the way we will stop at some nice spots like Viewing point Kubus at the Oštarijsko Sedlo ( 927 m ) from where we can enjoy the view on some of the nearby Adriatic islands and coastal town of Karlobag where we will enter the Adriatic Coastal Road. After that we'll take a walk on the sea promenade in one of the most beautiful Croatian Bays, where we can also refresh ourselves by taking a swim in the crystal clear blue sea. For the admirers of the great inventor Nikola Tesla there is a possibility to visit the Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan, his birthplace.

Zavratnica Bay

This place is so amazing that it is often called the Croatian fjord. The length of this bay is about 900 m and the width varies between 50 and 150 m. At the beginning of the 20th century a lookout point and a promenade along the sea were built. Zavratnica then became a secluded summer resort of the Viennese and Prague elite.
